large, well-known company
high quality fiber optic network
24/7 customer support |
Cons: |
Review Summary:
We found that Vonage offers the most features and the highest quality VoIP service and customer support available for VoIP services today. They let you keep your current phone number and provide free equipment, easy setup, a state of the art fiber optic network, and a 60-day money back guarantee. They are also one of the only VoIP providers to offer 24/7 US-based customer support.

ViaTalk

|
Pros:
many features available
good value
24/7 customer support |
Cons:
may be difficult getting support
relatively new company |
Review Summary:
ViaTalk is a great choice for VoIP service. They offer a lot of features at a relatively low price and a 14-day money back guarantee. The downside is their customer support. We have called them on several occasions and each time experienced unacceptable hold times, sometimes as high as an hour or more. If customer support isn't important to you as price and features, ViaTalk may be for you.

Verizon
|
Pros:

Cons:
relatively high price
may be difficult getting support |
Review Summary:
Verizon is a very large company with a reputation of quality and reliable phone service. They offer a decent list of calling features, however, like Vonage, it may be difficult getting good customer support at times, because of their large customer base. They are also more expensive than most of the other services that we’ve reviewed.
